The 1 Day Pemba Flying Fox Forest Tour was a fascinating glimpse into Pemba’s unique natural heritage. Seeing the giant flying foxes at dusk was quite an experience – they are truly enormous! Our guide shared interesting facts about the island’s ecology and the importance of this specific forest. It was a different kind of wildlife viewing compared to a safari, more intimate and focused on a specific species. A worthwhile addition to our Pemba visit.
