Seeing the chimpanzees in Mahale Mountains National Park was an experience I’ll never forget. Our guide was incredibly skilled at tracking them, and the moments we spent observing a family group felt so intimate and wild. The park itself is stunning, with incredible views over Lake Tanganyika. This was undoubtedly the pinnacle of our Tanzania safari. Truly a must-do for any wildlife enthusiast looking for something beyond the usual suspects. It felt so special to witness them in their natural habitat.
