The 2-day fly-in safari from Zanzibar to Nyerere was a very efficient way to see a different park. The logistics were handled well, and we saw hippos, crocodiles, and a good variety of birds. It’s a shorter trip, so don’t expect to see the Big Five in abundance, but it’s a fantastic introduction to southern Tanzania’s wildlife. The flight made it so accessible.
