Our 3-day safari through Uwanda Game Reserve and around Lake Rukwa was absolutely incredible. This area is a true hidden gem, offering diverse landscapes from savannahs to the vast lake. We saw so much wildlife, including large herds of elephants, hippos in the lake, and a variety of antelopes. The birdwatching was also phenomenal. The logistics were handled flawlessly, allowing us to focus entirely on the stunning scenery and wildlife. This trip felt authentic and off-the-beaten-path, which we loved. Definitely a highlight of our Tanzania trip planning for 2026.
