Just returned from the Matema and Mbeya Highlands Tour in June 2026, and it was breathtaking. The landscapes were unlike anything I’ve seen—rolling green hills, tea plantations, and the serene Lake Nyasa. Our guide, Joseph, knew every hidden viewpoint and local spot. The hike to Mbeya Peak was challenging but worth it for the sunrise. The lodges were cozy, and the food was fresh (try the local bananas!). If you want off-the-beaten-path beauty, this tour delivers. Only regret? Not staying longer!
