Tarangire is famous for its elephants, and we weren't disappointed! We saw huge herds and also spotted lions and various bird species. The drive from Zanzibar was manageable, and the park itself is stunning with its baobab trees. While it was a brief visit, it gave us a wonderful introduction to the Tanzanian wilderness. We'd consider a longer trip with them in the future, maybe exploring beyond 2026.

We opted for a 1-day Lake Manyara Safari and it was a really enjoyable day. Saw tree-climbing lions and lots of hippos! The park is beautiful. Our guide was knowledgeable, though sometimes we wished for a little more time at certain viewpoints. Still, a solid day out.
